Christmas Day with Access Community Trust

Festive cheer was in the air at Sam’s Coffee House, Lowestoft, this Christmas day as Access Community Trust and Hoseasons joined forces to host a Christmas meal for young and vulnerable people.

Held from 12noon the event saw a group of 15 young people and families coming together to celebrate Christmas at the café located on Bevan Street East.

Attendees enjoyed a Christmas dinner and gifts, donated by Hoseasons, and plenty of Christmas music and conversation could be heard coming from the community café.

Jason Cookson, from Access Community Trust, said: “There has been a warm and friendly atmosphere here and everybody has had an amazing time.

“Thanks go to all the volunteers for their hard work and to Hoseasons for their support- Sam’s Coffee House, as a venue, certainly lends itself to occasions like this.”

Ella Cooper, revenue analyst at Hoseasons, said: “It’s just really, really nice to see all the children enjoying themselves, their presents and the Christmas dinner. It has definitely been well-received and for me it has been an eye opening experience.”
