Amongst all the great things that we deliver within Access Community Trust, we are also the very proud organisers of parkrun Lowestoft, the most easterly parkrun in the UK.

What is parkrun Lowestoft?

parkrun Lowestoft is a FREE, weekly, timed, non-competitive, 5km, walk, jog or run, aimed at increasing exercise participation regardless of age or ability.

Who organises the weekly event?

Tasked with ensuring that the most easterly parkrun in the United Kingdom is managed to the highest of standards, is our very own Health and Fitness expert; Rob Fawcett, who as Event Director oversees the setup, planning, technology process and volunteering rosters that can include both our staff and service users, friends within our community as well as those seeking to gain further work experience opportunities. We are also very welcoming of those that are undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh award too.

Who can participate?

The great thing about parkrun Lowestoft is that is open to all, from Olympians to beginners, we welcome everyone. In fact, it’s a fantastic way to get whole family involved!

When and where does it take place?

The event takes place every Saturday at 9:00am at Lowestoft Promenade, Claremont Pier, Wellington Esplanade, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 0BS.

Where do I sign up?

Remember parkrun is completely FREE, all we ask is that you register ONCE and print off your designated barcode and bring it along to each event, including those that go on across the world.
